Guarantees

The Spanish Gas System has a guarantee scheme to ensure the fulfilment of the financial obligations laid down in current legislation.

View the calendars for updating guarantees for customers connected to distribution networks, in compliance with Article 43 of Circular 8/2019.

There are two guarantee simulators:

• Guarantee simulator for the settlement of imbalances in compliance with Article 23.3 of Circular 2/2020 of 9 January of the National Markets and Competition Commission, setting out the natural gas balancing rules.
• Guarantee simulator for capacity contracting in compliance with Article 42.11 of Circular 8/2019 of 12 December of the National Markets and Competition Commission.
