Here you can check the conversion factor applied to your invoices.
Select the municipality, the reading frequency (monthly or bimonthly), the date of the last day of the billing period shown on the bill and the gas pressure in your facility or home.
If you are unsure about the pressure in your facility or who your distributor is because your municipality is served by more than one distributor, contact the retailer with whom you have a contract.
According to the Resolution of 15 February 2019 of the Directorate General for Energy Policy and Mines, the standard pressures for which correction factors are calculated are 20 mbar, 22 mbar, 50 mbar, 55 mbar, 100 mbar and 150 mbar.
GCV, LCV and conversion factor values are expressed under the following reference conditions: [GCV and LCV at 0 ºC; V (0 ºC; 1.01325 bar)].
As per Annex J of the ISO 6976 standard, the factor to be applied to convert the GCV from 0ºC to 25ºC is 1/1.0026.
In the case of municipalities supplied via satellite plants connected to the distribution network, the GCV for the billing period must be provided by the gas supply company. The Conversion Factor for billing is obtained from the aforementioned GCV and the Correction Factor published on this website.
