With the support of the company, Cáritas Spain will be able to help over 2,000 needy people

For the third year running Enagás is donating €100,000 euros to Cáritas to help meet the basic needs of the most vulnerable groups. This sum, which the company previously spent on Christmas greetings and gifts, will be used for Cáritas' “Emergency Social Assistance Programme.”

This partnership will help over 2,000 people in six Spanish cities by providing healthcare and food to families in shelters, social canteens and day centres. More specifically, the money will be used to distribute food and medicines and to help with housing and schooling costs, as well as for other initiatives that provide spaces for people who come to Cáritas and to foster family unity.

This initiative is in line with the social action policy of Enagás, which is committed to supporting projects that enhance the well-being of individuals, and in particular that of members of the most disadvantaged groups in society.
