Named sector leader in the economic dimension
Enagás has retained its place in the Dow Jones Sustainability Index (DJSI – the global benchmark for sustainability) for the fifth year running. In the latest edition of the index, announced today, the company obtained the top score in its sector —Gas Distribution— in the economic dimension, in recognition of its commitment to incorporate best management practices with regard to sustainability and risk control.
Enagás is one of 17 Spanish companies in the index, which this year comprises 340 companies worldwide.
These results further acknowledge the company’s pledge to sustainability and bolster the commitments included in its recently-updated CSR Strategy (Visión 2020).
