For the thirteenth consecutive year, Enagás has been included in the Dow Jones Sustainability Index (DJSI), the world's leading sustainability index.
With 87 points out of a possible 100, the company obtained the highest score and leads the world in its sector, Gas Utilities. Enagás leads in 14 of the 25 criteria evaluated, achieving the highest possible score (100 points) in the aspects of Environmental and Social Reporting, Environmental Policy and Management Systems, and Materiality.
These results acknowledge the company’s commitment to carbon neutrality, its setting of ambitious emission reduction targets and its commitment to the development of hydrogen and other renewable gases.
For this year’s review process, the DJSI World Index examined the world’s 2,500 largest companies and, after rigorous analysis, selected only the 323 most sustainable companies on the basis of financial, environmental and social criteria.
