Scale Gas, the Enagás subsidiary that focuses on developing and managing small-scale LNG infrastructures, has been honoured with the prestigious FINE Vessel of the Year Award. This recognition applauds its efforts in promoting sustainable mobility within the maritime sector. The award is shared with its project partner, Knutsen España.
Earlier this year, the two companies collaboratively launched the Haugesund Knutsen, the first LNG bunkering vessel constructed in Spain. The vessel is currently operational in the Mediterranean region, helping to strengthen the area's security of supply and facilitating the decarbonisation of maritime mobility.
Álvaro Delicado, director of Bunkering and Terminals at Scale Gas, along with Álvaro Agosti, general manager at Knutsen Spain, were responsible for accepting the award.
The FINE Awards are dedicated to promoting social recognition of companies, institutions, and professionals in the maritime sector, and to highlighting the valuable contributions these individuals and organisations make in serving society and the Spanish maritime industry.
