  • Company professionals took part in a company volunteer programme to promote the employability and social normalisation of women in precarious situations

As part of the measures for the International Day for the Elimination of Violence against Women, Enagás once again carried out a corporate volunteering initiative in collaboration with the Randstad Foundation and the José María de Llanos Foundation.

For the seventh consecutive year, several training workshops were organised by Enagás employees to help women in precarious situations improve their employability. Each workshop was attended by more than 20 users of the above-mentioned foundations. Through these initiatives, the company aims to raise awareness among its employees about the issue of gender-based violence and the need to fight against this social problem.

Enagás has a gender equality plan that includes gender-based violence as the scope of action. In addition, since 2015, the company has taken part in the initiative “Companies for a society without gender violence”, after signing a collaboration agreement with the administration to raise awareness about gender violence.

The company is firmly committed to raising awareness of equality, respect for fundamental rights and building a society free of violence against women.
