The Hydrogen Technology Observatory is organizing this technical webinar on ground mobility to share technological innovations driven by companies and scientific institutions to decarbonise transport, especially in sectors where electrification is not feasible, such as heavy road transport.
The workshop will be opened and moderated by Eugenia Sillero, Secretary General of Gasnam-Neutral Transport, a partner collaborating in this event. A representative from the CMT - Clean Mobility & Thermofluids Research Institute of the Polytechnic University of Valencia and Volvo Trucks Spain will present the pros and cons of using fuel cells versus internal combustion engines.
Westport Fuel Systems will then present a real case study of the first hydrogen refrigerated trailer truck in Spain, a technology available to be installed in any combustion engine vehicle. This would be a step towards the decarbonization of transport and the improvement of air quality, due to the elimination of NOx. The event will be closed by Igor Pagazaurtundua, coordinator of the Hydrogen Technology Observatory.
The event will be held in Spanish without translation.
