Between July 3 and 5, Lisbon hosted CongrEGA '24, the first Ibero-American congress on engineering asset management that brought together agents to debate the best and most innovative practices in the management of infrastructure, equipment, machinery and facilities to provide essential services, such as transportation, food, water, energy, communications, health and safety, among others.
Several Enagás professionals participated in this technical congress in different sessions. Enagás Engineering and Projects Manager, Rosa Nieto, lead the key speech “Technical and Energetic Challenges in the Transition from Natural gas to Hydrogen” (July 3, 5-6:30 pm.). Enagás Gas Asset General Manager and President of the Spanish Maintenance Association (AEM), Claudio Rodríguez, also participated at the presentation: “Maintenance and Asset Management. Future and Trends in the Iberian Region” (July 4, 11am).
Enagás Head of Maintenance Management and Analysis, Javier Serra, offered the session “Implementation process of an ISO 55001 certified asset management model in the Natural Gas industry” and Sonia Liñán, the same department, participated at “Early Failure Detection in Secondary Cryogenic Pumps through Machine Learning Techniques in the Context of Industry 4.0” session.
