An Agricultural Engineer from the Polytechnic University of Madrid, he has extensive executive training, such as the Executive MBA from IE Business School, the Executive Development Programme (PDD) and General Management Programme (PDG) from IESE, the Strategy and Implementation Programme from The London School of Economics and Political Science, and executive programmes in digitalisation of Human Resources (PDDRH+) and the Senior Management Programme in Digital Business (PADDB+) from The Valley.
His career began in engineering and consulting firms. In 1992, he joined Enagás where he has held various positions of responsibility in Human Resources, Organisation, and CSR. In 2013, he was appointed Human & Corporate Resources General Manager and he joined the Management Committee.
He is a member of the Instituto Gobernanza y Sociedad and the Professional Development Working Group of Fundación Princesa de Girona. He has also served as a mentor to women executives in the Promociona Programme of CEOE and ESADE.
