Enagás Group

This is the parent company of the Enagás Group, which encompasses all subsidiaries.

Enagás, S.A. is responsible for regasification, basic and secondary transmission, and natural gas storage activities by means of own or third-party gas infrastructure, in addition to the performance of ancillary and related activities.

It is also responsible for the design, construction, start-up, operation and maintenance of gas infrastructure and complementary facilities.

In its capacity as Technical Manager of the Spanish Gas System, Enagás, S.A. performs all functions related to the technical management of the gas system.

Furthermore, the company is reponsable for transport and storage carbon dioxide, hydrogen, biogas and other energy-related fluids, by means of or through its own facilities or those of third parties.

Enagás, S.A. also provides specialised engineering, construction, advisory and consultancy services related to its activity, and participates in natural gas market management activities.

Enagás GTS, S.A.U. is the Enagás Group subsidiary responsible for the performance of all functions related to the technical management of the Spanish Gas System. Enagás has been the Technical Manager of the Gas System since 2000 and carries out its functions with complete independence from the rest of the Enagás Group’s activities. 

Its main function is to guarantee the continuity and security of natural gas supply and the efficient coordination of access points, storage facilities, and transmission and distribution networks. 

It provides various services, including advisory and consultancy services in connection with its area of operations, and participates in natural gas market management activities to the extent they are compatible with the activities attributed to the Company by law. 

Enagás Transporte, S.A.U. is the Enagás Group subsidiary responsible for regasification, basic and secondary transmission, and natural gas storage activities by means of own or third-party gas infrastructure and facilities, and for the performance of ancillary and related activities.

It carries out the design, construction, start-up, operation and maintenance of all types of gas infrastructure and supporting installations, including telecommunications networks, remote control systems of any nature and electricity networks owned by the company or by third parties.

It is also responsible for activities to make use of waste heat, cold, and energies associated with its main activities or resulting from them; it provides engineering, construction, advisory and consultancy services in relation to its activity and participates in natural gas market management activities, to the extent they are compatible with the activities attributed to the Company by law. 

Enagás Internacional, S.L.U. is the Enagás Group subsidiary responsible for the acquisition, subscription, holding, enjoyment, management and disposal of shares in the capital of other companies both resident and non-resident in Spain, and of equity and fixed-interest securities.

Enagás Emprende is the Enagás Group subsidiary responsible for investment in, collaboration on and acceleration of innovative technologies and projects in the field of energy transition, with particular emphasis on renewable gases such as biogas/biomethane and hydrogen, sustainable mobility, energy efficiency and digitalisation, among other projects.

Enagás Emprende is the Enagás Open Innovation and Corporate Entrepreneurship Programme.

Enagás Financiaciones, S.A.U. is the Enagás Group subsidiary responsible for issuing debt instruments and granting loans and credits to the companies that make up the Enagás Group at any given time.

Enagás Services Solutions, S.L.U. is the Enagás Group subsidiary responsible for the provision of all types of services related to the energy sector, the telecommunications sector (fiber optic) and infrastructure projects in general, as well as the performance of consultancy studies, engineering projects, technical support and management of the execution of works and facilities, and the planning, service, development, construction, operation and maintenance of infrastructure.

Enagás Infraestructuras de Hidrógeno, S.L.U. is the Enagás Group company engaged in the management of green hydrogen transport and storage activities and other renewable gases linked to hydrogen. It is also responsible for other activities such as transmission and temporary storage systems for green hydrogen and its derivatives.

In addition, it is responsible for the design, construction, start-up, operation and maintenance of all types of infrastructure associated with the transmission and storage of green hydrogen and other renewable gases linked to hydrogen, including telecommunications and digital networks, remote control and monitoring and electricity supply networks, whether owned by the company or third parties. It also oversees activities for making use of heat, cold, and energies associated with its main activities or resulting from them.

Enagás Infraestructuras de Hidrógeno, S.L.U. also provides engineering, construction, advisory and consultancy services related to these areas.
